Detroit Lions player Danny Amendola did his very best to bring down his ex-girlfriend model and actress Olivia Culpo in an explosive rant on Instagram on Thursday. What he did instead was show how completely bitter and immature he is.
Calling out 26-year-old Culpo for “choosing to be noticed on the internet and in Hollywood to make money” when compared to his perfect self who chooses to go on beach dates with pretty television presenters when his girlfriend was out of town, Amendola, 33, claimed when it came to their relationship, Culpo “f***** up too.” You can read the full rant here.
The spray seemed to be a knee-jerk reaction to footage of Culpo and music producer and DJ Zedd dancing closely together at Coachella over the weekend. “We’ve been on and off for a long time and not together as of late! Not sure what’s in the future but the only thing I care about is her HAPPINESS. And if that’s dancing with [a scrawny] little f****, so be it.”
Amendola’s bitterness and jealousy was further exposed when he revealed intimate details about the former couple’s sex life.
He has since deleted the post. And posted another to just clarify his messed-up emotions.
“What I meant to say yesterday was that the media and general public have no idea what goes on behind closed doors,” he wrote on his Instagram next to a photo of a lion. “I don’t participate in fake intangibles that consume the public eye. I’m a private, single guy and if everyone’s happy — I’m happy.”
You sound super private, Danny.
“It’s not fun seeing your name attached to a click-bait headline story that is completely fabricated bulls–t.. so when I saw this love triangle gossip I tried to clear the air,” he continued. “Take blame for the miscommunication! Good vibes only from me! ALL LOVE always.”
But this super private guy then posted another post. “Fake people have an image to maintain. The real ones jus don’t care,” Amendola captioned a selfie.
You sound like you just don’t care, Danny.
Culpo hasn’t responded at all. And that is taking the high road. She’s lucky she’s out of there.
