Just days before Karl Lagerfeld passed away, the designer announced he would collaborate with Olivia Palermo. It would be one of his final works.
The partnership titled KARL LAGERFELD Styled by Olivia Palermo will see the impeccably chic influencer and entrepreneur style several pieces from the collection and design five of them. PEOPLE today reported the collaboration will still move ahead despite Lagerfeld’s death.
“Being able to collaborate with the visionary and iconic KARL LAGERFELD is truly incredible,” Palermo announced on her Instagram six days ago. “I am so proud to bring our shared vision to life on this project and infuse my own eclectic perspective to KARL’s Fall 2019 collection.”
Today, the GRAZIA cover girl paid tribute to the late designer. “We lost a genius talent and true legend in Karl Lagerfeld,” she said in a statement. “He impacted so many people with his visionary approach not only to fashion but to the world, and I am so grateful to have been a part of that vision.”
