It’s been all but days since Orlando Bloom spoke about the amicable relationship between he and ex-girlfriend Katy Perry. Now, the actor has been linked to the very single Nina Dobrev if the latest tabloid reports are anything to go by.
According to People, a source has confirmed Bloom and Dobrev, who are old friends, have indeed been hanging out romantically but at this point it’s “super casual”. “They’ve known each other for a while. Recently they’ve been hanging out as more than friends,” said the source.
Strangely, a representative for Dobrev has spoken publicly about the romantic kindling. “Nina and Orlando are just friends. They have the same representation and friends in common, and often end up in the same social group. That’s all it is.”
Bloom – who is reportedly “very single” – said things between he and Perry are good. “We’re all grown up. She happens to be someone who is very visible, but I don’t think anybody cares about what I’m up to. Nor should they. It’s between us. It’s better to set an example for kids and show that [breakups] don’t have to be about hate.”
Take this report with a grain of salt. Bloom was spotted with Leonardo DiCaprio at Coachella with a mystery model known as Ashley Haas while Dobrev reportedly danced just metres away. Oh, how we love the internet and its speculative dramas.
