Love at first sight is a real thing, according to Pete Davidson.
The Saturday Night Live star has opened up about falling fast for Ariana Grande in a new interview with America’s GQ magazine, admitting he sent the God Is A Woman singer photos of engagement rings within days of meeting.
“The universe works in strange ways,” he said. “All I know is that I’m the luckiest guy in the world. The day I met her, I was like, ‘Hey, I’ll marry you tomorrow’”.
“She was calling my bluff. I sent her a picture [of engagement rings]. I was like, ‘Do you like any of these?’ She was like, ‘Those are my favorite ones,’ and I was like, ‘Sick.’ ”
It wasn’t long before the couple moved into a US $16 million apartment overlooking New York City’s famous Highline walk. But despite the luxurious surrounds, co-habitating has been a learning curve, Pete, 24, said.
“We have six bean bags, but we have no forks. We’re learning how to be adults. We’re having a really fun time.”
It had been rumoured the couple would wed as soon as this month, but that doesn’t appear to have happened – yet.
