To describe Piers Morgan as controversial is an understatement. The fiery television host has rightly called-out the hypocrisy of Samantha Markle’s claims the media circus surrounding the Royal wedding caused her father, Thomas, to have a heart attack.
The estranged half-sister to Meghan Markle – who will wed Prince Harry on Saturday – has tried to explain why her father will no longer walk his daughter down the aisle at Windsor Castle. (You can catch up on the tangled happenings here).
Fifty-three-year-old Samantha – who has spent the past couple of years promoting her ridiculous tell-all book The Diary Of Princess Pushy’s Sister – told Morgan she takes full responsibility for making arrangements for paparazzi to take pictures of her father making preparations for his daughter’s big day. But since he was outed by CCTV footage talking to photographers to allegedly stage the snaps, Samantha now claims “media vultures” have put too much pressure on her father.
“It was done with the good intention to make the royal family look good, and himself,” she said. “Because the media were so unfairly portraying him in a negative light. Shame on them. He had a right and a moral obligation to set the record straight and defend himself.”
Morgan fired back. “There’s no bigger media vulture with this wedding than you,” he said.
“How do you have the gall to come on here and talk about media vultures. You’ve been trashing her for two years you little vulture.”
