In the days leading up to the royal wedding, Prince Harry had an “emotional” phone call with his ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy, it’s been revealed.
As per Vanity Fair, Harry and Chelsy, who dated on-and-off for seven years before they split in 2010 became “tearful” as they spoke.
“It was their final call, a parting call in which they both acknowledged Harry was moving on,” a source said.
“Chelsy was quite emotional about it all, she was in tears and almost didn’t go to the wedding.
“In the end, she went [to the ceremony] and promised Harry she wouldn’t try and gatecrash the party [at Frogmore House].”
Chelsy, 32, made headlines when she was spotted looking uncomfortable during the ceremony. “It should have been me” jokes and memes abounded.

She wasn’t the only ex Harry invited to watch him marry Meghan Markle. Cressida Bonas, who he dated after Chelsy, also scored an invite.
