They’ve sent the invitations and announced they want charity donations, not gifts, now Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have chosen a wedding photographer.
Alexi Lubomirski, the fashion photographer who did Harry and Meghan’s stunning engagement photoshoot, will capture the couple on their wedding day.
“Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle have selected Alexi Lubomirski to be the official photographer at their Wedding on Saturday 19th May,” Kensington Palace stated via a press release.
“Mr. Lubomirski will take the official photographs at Windsor Castle following the Wedding at St. George’s Chapel.”
Lubomirski confirmed the news, saying in the release:
“I could not be more thrilled or honored to photograph this historic occasion.
“Having taken Prince Harry and Ms. Markle’s engagement photos, it brings me such joy to be able to witness again, the next chapter in this wonderful love story.”
Lubomirski is an experienced fashion photographer, having trained with Mario Testino and going on to shoot countless celebrities for major fashion publications throughout his career. Beyoncé, Charlize Theron, Gwyneth Paltrow, Natalie Portman, Jennifer Lopez, Selma Hayek, Katy Perry, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jennifer Aniston, Nicole Kidman, and Scarlett Johansson are just a few of the big names he’s worked with.
The countdown is on to the most anticipated nuptials of the year, with just over five weeks to go until Meghan is an official member of the royal family. We can’t wait.
