Prince Harry has cancelled a planned visit to Amsterdam next week, fuelling speculation Meghan Markle has gone into labour or given birth to their child.

It was just days ago that the Duke of Sussex announced plans for a two-day trip to the Netherlands next week to kick-off the countdown to the next Invictus Games.

But apparently it’s been decided that Harry going overseas at such a crucial time might not be the best idea.

“Due to the logistical planning for the travelling press to cover visits and engagements by The Royal Family, we have taken the decision to postpone The Duke of Sussex’s scheduled visit to Amsterdam on Wednesday 8th May 2019,” a spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said Friday.

The royal statement said Harry will still pop over to the Netherlands next week, skipping Amsterdam but visiting The Hague for a couple of hours on Thursday.

Meghan is expected to give birth (if she hasn’t already) any day now, after her due date passed last Sunday.

The wait for Baby Sussex continues.
