Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are officially married.

The couple tied the knot in India on Saturday, celebrating with a unique ceremony that combined elements from their different backgrounds – she’s Hindu and he’s Christian.

Sharing several photos from one of several parties and ceremonies they enjoyed over their wedding weekend, Jonas, 26, said:

“One of the most special things that our relationship has given us is a merging of families who love and respect each other’s faiths and cultures. And so planning our wedding with an amalgamation of both was so so amazing.

“An important part for the girl in an Indian wedding is the Mehendi,” he said, explaining that the couple decided for Nick to participate in it, too.

“Once again we made it our own and it was an afternoon that kicked off the celebrations in the way we both dreamed.”

Priyanka, 36 and her new husband both wore Ralph Lauren.

After the ceremony at a royal palace in Jodphur, fireworks were seen lighting up the sky.

Unfortunately Priyanka’s close friend Meghan Markle could not be at the ceremony. It’s thought she didn’t feel comfortable travelling as she’s due to give birth in a few months.

The singer and actress duo got engaged four months ago after dating for a year.
