Another day, another whirlwind celebrity engagement.
First there was Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson, then there was Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin. Now, it’s been reported Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are engaged after a brief romance, too.
According to People, the couple, who got together in May, are set to wed after Jonas popped the question about a week ago – on her 36th birthday, no less.
An insider claims the 25-year-old singer even shut down a Tiffany store to purchase the engagement ring in private.
“They are so happy,” the source said.
“[Nick’s] friends and family have never seen him like this, and they’re all really excited for him.”
Things have certainly come along way since May, when a source said the two were dating but “weren’t too serious right now… but they are having amazing sex.”
Could it be that Harry and Meghan have made marriage cool again? Actress Chopra is a dear friend of Meghan Markle, after all.
While it wasn’t a whirlwind relationship, Karlie Kloss also announced engagement news this week. She’s set to marry her long-time boyfriend Joshua Kushner.
