After Fergie and Josh Duhamel announced their separation this month, another long-time celebrity couple has called it quits – Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen.
Bilson and Christensen have been living apart for months, according to Us Weekly.
“She’s full-time back in L.A. He’s in Toronto,” an insider said.
“They’ve been on the outs for a couple of months.”
Another source told E! News the split was a mutual decision a long time coming.
“It was a gradual buildup of issues and problems. They were in agreement it was time to move on as a couple,” a friend of Bilson said.
“Rachel is very social and likes to hang out with friends,” the source continued.
“Hayden is reclusive and off the grid. She accepted that for a long time, but sometimes it was a lot to handle. Hayden can gets depressed and is extremely neurotic and it was bringing her down. She felt like she wanted something different and easier. She tried to make it work for years but just got tired of this being her life.”
Of course, there are two sides to every story.
The actor pair were together for a decade. They met filming the movie Jumper back in 2008, getting engaged in 2010 and welcoming daughter Briar Rose in 2014.
