Reese Witherspoon posted a sweet snap on Instagram on Wednesday wishing her son Deacon a sweet 16th birthday.
“Happy 16th Birthday to this guy whose bright smile makes every day so much better!😄🥰🥳Kind, compassionate, hysterical, friendly, and talented …I’m so lucky to have a son like you! @deaconphillippe❤️ #16″, she wrote.
It’s a lovely photo, but it also highlights the fact that at 43, Reese looks about half her age.
The actress, recently seen on Big Little Lies, will also star in The Morning Show with Jennifer Aniston, premiering on Apple TV+ on November 1st. Both Aniston and Witherspoon admitted in an interview on British radio the other day that they are into intermittent fasting, maybe that’s the secret to eternal youth?

Dad Ryan posted a pretty adorable birthday shoutout to his son, too, his “road dawg for life”.
Phillippe was hot property around the turn of the millennium, starring alongside Witherspoon in Cruel Intentions as well as appearing in 54, I Know What You Did Last Summer and Gosford Park, but he hasn’t done much acting in recent years. Judging by his Instagram profile, he enjoys outdoor sports and getting the odd tattoo.
Witherspoon is one of the highest paid actresses in the world as of 2019. An Academy Award and Primetime Emmy Award are among her many accolades.
