The 33rd annual MTV Video Music Awards didn’t disappoint. Returning from downtown Los Angeles to New York City, musicians and celebrities floated onto the white carpet in Madison Square Garden. Britney made her (lacklustre) return to the VMA stage since 2007. Kanye premiered a new music video and stoked the fire with Taylor Swift once more. Beyoncé dedicated her Video Of The Year award to the people of New Orleans. And Drake publicly confessed his long-time love for Rihanna and as the lights dimmed on stage… he kissed her.
