We love Rihanna for many reasons, but one of the things we’ve always loved best is the woman’s confidence.

She’s had it from the very beginning, but it has only increased as she’s gotten older, wiser, more world-dominating.

Today she launched her new photo book Rihanna, marking the occasion on Instagram in a cheeky post where she poses behind the book, apparently naked except for some rose-tinted aviator frames, bracelets, necklaces and earrings.

She looks fresh, like she’s just stepped out of a pool, or had a nice hot oil massage, just sitting pretty amidst a beautiful flower arrangement and admiring her own image.

There are no less than 1000 pics of the Barbadian pop star/beauty/fashion icon in the 504-page book, published by Phaidon. “It’s crazy to look back at all of the memories and be able to share these moments with you!” she writes.

The nearly nude pic comes a week after Rihanna chose to advertise her new Diamond Bomb 2 highlighter in the best way possible — by spreading it across her cleavage in a slow-motion clip where she’s wearing a peach triangle bikini top. “I’m just saying, Diamond Bomb 2 is sexy af,” she captioned it.

Rihanna was obviously feeling herself that day. Earlier she shared another slo mo video where she’s wearing a hi-cut black bikini and sheer black kimono on top. We see her in profile taking a few powerful steps before she spins around to show a peep of her butt.

Later she completes the slo-mo trifecta, strutting in a tie-dyed pink sarong that’s a barely there cover up. She walks, she jiggles, the Instagram crowd goes wild.

Rihanna has gotten a little curvier in the past couple of years but posts like these are a message to women everywhere that a couple of extra kilos is nothing to worry about. Whatever her size, Rihanna always owns it and exudes feeling sexy and comfortable in her own skin. It gives us permission to do the same.

As if she needed any more reason to celebrate, Rihanna’s high-end fashion line Fenty has also just been nominated for a 2019 British Fashion Award in the Urban Luxe Category by the British Fashion Council. “Thankyou @britishfashioncouncil for acknowledging our hard work and respecting the quality of what we produce! This is such an incredible honour.”

Bow down to the Queen.
