We need your opinion for a second: Would you be annoyed if your boyfriend of eight years cuddled up to Rita Ora – hand on her waist for a photograph – at an event? OK, would you be annoyed if Ora posted said photograph to her millions of followers on Twitter with the caption “Date night”? All while you were sitting at home with your new baby?
Conor McGregor’s sparring partner has come out swinging at Ora after she stirred speculation she was on a date with the MMA fighter. The 29-year-old singer snuggled up to McGregor for several photographs and selfies at The Fashion Awards at The Royal Albert Hall in London on Monday night. In response to her posting the pointed tweet, Artem Lobov posted “Sorry Rita, burgers are nice but not when a man has steak at home.”

McGregor has been dating long-time girlfriend Dee Devlin for eight years and just welcomed a baby boy into the world in March. It is believed Ora is dating musician Andrew Watts (who appeared to be present at the same event). MMA fighting attracts the most brutally vocal fans in the world so you can imagine the response to Ora. One Twitter user posted “Seriously disrespectful to his partner and mother of his child,” one posted. “Oh Rita honey, just no,” said another. Some have too turned on McGregor. “Money has got to his head and he thinks he can do what he wants when he wants, love Conor but he’s changing and forgetting where he came from.”
While we’re not 100% on the status of both relationships, both Ora and McGregor’s behaviour and the subsequent tweet is nothing but disrespectful to Devlin – and Watts. Can you imagine if the role was reversed and Devlin posted that with a man? McGregor would 100% have something to say.
Ora has since posted again in an attempt to fan the fire – this time with Donatella Versace. “Last night with my real date”. But first there was this:
