US welfare services are reportedly investigating the care situation of Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna’s 10-month-old daughter, Dream Kardashian.

TMZ reports that the Department of Children and Family Services opened a case in L.A. County Dependency Court some time ago, long before Rob’s public allegations that Blac Chyna had used drugs while Dream was in her care.

It’s unclear why the DCFS’s interest was piqued, but Rob and Chyna have split up and got back together in dramatic fashion several times since Dream’s birth, with each scenario playing out in the public eye.

Rob and Dream are believed to be nearing the resolution of their custody battle, but the issue of child support remains a tense one, with Blac wanting more than Rob is happy to provide.

According to TMZ, some of the women in the Kardashian family – possibly Kris, Kim, Khloe and Kourtney – aren’t convinced Blac is willing and capable of caring for Dream appropriately.

Blac, real name Angela Renee White, has a drug-related entry on her criminal history. Last year she was arrested and charged at a Texas airport for trying to fly to London with two ecstasy pills on her person, and was seen verbally abusing a worker at the airport bar. She went to court in January, where the case was dismissed.
