Isn’t the rule of feminist thumb not to finger-point at other women? Rose McGowan – who importantly and bravely came forward to recount her horrific experience with Harvey Weinstein – unfortunately is hell bent on taking down every woman in her path if they dare choose to stand up for a cause in a way that in not in line with her own ideologies.

Recently, we brought you the news McGowan publicly shamed former Charmed co-star Alyssa Milano for giving an update on how Weinstein’s ex-wife and Marchesa designer, Georgina Chapman was fairing amid the aftermath of the scandal. “You make me want to vomit. You actually gave me a body flashback. Well done, fake one,” McGowan wrote to Milano at the time. “Alyssa, maybe you and Georgina can call up Camille Cosby.”

GRAZIA readers came out in droves in support for Chapman citing she too has been a victim. Last week, ahead of the Golden Globes, it is widely believed a lot of well-known actresses – including Meryl Streep, Emma Stone and Jessica Chastain – are set to wear black to the red carpet event in silent protest. In doing so, they hope reporters will #AskHerMore and her outfit colour choice will spur intelligent question which will draw light upon the gender inequality in Hollywood. But McGowan is having none of it and has launched a scathing attack on Streep.

“Actresses, like Meryl Streep, who happily worked for The Pig Monster, are wearing black @GoldenGlobes in a silent protest,” McGowan wrote on Twitter. “YOUR SILENCE is THE problem. You’ll accept a fake award breathlessly and affect no real change. I despise your hypocrisy. Maybe you should all wear Marchesa.”
