Selena Gomez and The Weeknd have been photographed looking loved-up at Coachella Music & Arts festival in the California desert this weekend.
Music’s most talked about couple were all over each other when they were spotted by paparazzi and fans making their way to the VIP area to see Travis Scott.
Selena held onto The Weeknd, real name Abel Tesfaye, by the shoulders as they walked through the crowd. At one point, when they were rushed by a group of eager fans snapping photos, he wrapped his arms around her to protect her from the crush.

Fan footage from the VIP area showed Selena with her arms wrapped around Abel as they watched Travis Scott perform.

While neither singer is on the Coachella line-up, The Weeknd is rumoured to be doing a surprise performance.
Fans of the couple, nicknamed Abelena, went into a flurry last week when The Weeknd posted his first shot of Selena on his Instagram account.
The picture, uploaded late at night is an intimate one, showing Gomez pulling The Weeknd towards her and planting a kiss on his forehead.
You know you’re a big deal when you post a dark, blurry photo with no caption and it almost breaks the internet – the picture has since collected almost 1.5 million likes.
