You’d could be forgiven for overlooking one of the most easily wearable parts to Gigi Hadid’s Tommy Hilfiger AW17 runway look: a micro patent-look backpack in navy blue leather-like PU that’s so dark it almost passes for black. From the front, you couldn’t even tell she was wearing it. But then, that’s the point with a micro backpack: small and unassuming, which Gigi’s runway bag of choice was.

But as you can see in these exclusive GRAZIA shots by Erika Yin (below), there’s nothing subtle about the very similar-looking style that’s commercially available now. The compact bag is clearly a hero piece in the new limited edition Gigi Hadid x Tommy Hilfiger capsule collection; its signature red pocket, metal star motif and rock-font GH initials all battling one another for attention.
The mini backpack is available at Tommy Hilfiger stores in Sydney (Westfield Sydney, Westfield Parramatta), Melbourne (Chadstone and Melbourne Central), Adelaide (Burnside Village) and Queensland (Pacific Fair), with limited stock also available online at David Jones and MYER.
