“It feels like a death in the family,” Sophie Turner told Harper’s Bazaar recently when asked how she feels about Game Of Thrones ending. “I’m losing the character I’ve played so long.” Yes, indeed after this season, there will be no more Sansa Stark – albeit, she has gone through a pretty terrible time since we met her in 2011.

In real life, however, Turner, 23, is brimming with happiness. She’s engaged to Joe Jonas and their “low-key, intimate” wedding is probably this year. “He’s lovely. He’s just the funniest. You wouldn’t expect he’s about to turn 30 this year,” Turner told the publication. “He’s the most fun, energetic, positive person I’ve ever seen. I’m pessimistic, so we balance each other out.”

When asked about the lessons she’s learnt in love, she responded honestly. “I learned that love isn’t always easy. You have to work at love to enjoy it more. I think like anything, with the career you have, the more you work, the bigger the pay-off and it’s the same with love.”

Now that she isn’t shooting GOT anymore, she fills her time with different hobbies like painting in her New York house or attending a ballet class. While her life seems a little quieter, everybody knows nobody lives a quiet life in Game Of Thrones. And the season eight premiere in New York City overnight was exactly that. Take a peek inside.
