They might be young, but the Stranger Things stars’ pay packets are far from small.

The cast of the hit Netflix show has negotiated massive new deals for season three, sending the per-episode rate for some as high as US $350,000.

TMZ reports Gaten Matarazzo, 15, who plays Dustin Henderson on the show, will earn between $200,000 – $250,000 per episode of season three. A huge increase, given he’s understood to have earned $20,000 per episode for the first two seasons.

Meanwhile The Sun claims Millie Bobby Brown, 14, who plays Eleven, will take home an astonishing US $350,000 per episode.

It’s understood Winona Ryder and David Harbour will take home similar amounts to Millie, while Finn Wolfhard (Mike), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas) and Noah Schnapp (Will) are at a similar pay tier to Gaten.

Natalia Dyer (Nancy), Charlie Heaton (Jonathan) and Joe Keery (Steve) each negotiated to earn roughly $150,000.

The powers that be at Netflix are smart to invest in the Stranger Things cast. The show is almost solely responsible for ensuring the streaming service remains a cut above its competitors.

Although other original shows like Orange Is The New Black and Narcos should not be discounted, Stranger Things proved its unmatched popularity when it became the most-tweeted about streaming show of all time upon the release of season two in October last year, with users generating more than 3.7 million tweets in just a few days.

Somebody wise once said “Be generous with pay, and they will stay.” Actually that was just us, right now. Makes sense though.
