Australian Instagram model Tammy Hembrow has broken her silence after it was revealed she was the woman stretchered out of Kylie Jenner’s 21st birthday party.
The 24-year-old, who has two children, was in LA for the event after striking up a relationship with Khloe Kardashian after modelling for Khloe’s Good American denim line.
In a teary video posted to her YouTube channel, which has more than 1.2 million subscribers, Tammy blamed the collapse on jetlag and exhaustion.
“I was running off pretty much 30 hours no sleep. I was struggling to stay awake even when I was getting my hair and makeup done,” Hembrow said.
“I was literally sitting there, like, falling asleep. Like, I could barely keep my eyes open. I’ve been throwing myself into work way more than ever, and also, I have my kids the majority of the time.”
Hembrow said in hindsight, she regretted drinking alcohol at the bash.
“I probably, definitely shouldn’t have been drinking because of how jet-lagged I was, because of how exhausted I was, and I already wasn’t feeling well at all.
“I was talking to a bunch of my friends … [then] I pretty much collapsed.”
The gym obsessive said she was “super embarrassed” about the incident, but was trying to learn from the experience and move on.
“I read a quote yesterday and it said, ‘Make time for rest or your body will force you to slow down in ways you probably won’t like.’ And I feel like that couldn’t be more true.
“I mean, you just never know what someone is going through, so it’s just a reminder to be kind always.”
Kylie Jenner, nor any other Kardashian-Jenners, have commented on the incident.
