The first look at The Handmaid’s Tale season three is here, and it answers the questions fans have been wondering about since season two wrapped in July last year.
In the clip, which bears the tagline “Witness the birth of a revolution,” we see June plotting to overthrow the totalitarian government of Gilead – with some help.
While season two was at times tough to watch as June seemed to be foiled at every turn, season three promises more hope and a rebellion viewers can get behind.
The most hopeful sign of all in the season three trailer might be that both of June’s daughters appear to have made it to Canada to be with her husband Luke.
The Handmaid’s Tale season three is coming to SBS on Thursday June 6.
