Amidst all of the quick fire trends happening at MBFWA, we at GRAZIA HQ are already seeing a clear accessory trend that is taking normcore to new heights.

The Teva Sandal.

Georgia Alice,  Karla Špetić and Duskii have us clamouring online to find out the where and how much for the strappy sandals they’ve paired with their Resort 2017 collections. Its design epitomises modern minimalism, but as it turns out, these Teva sandals have been on the market since the 80’s and could be yours to step out in with the click of a button.

Retailing on ASOS and The Iconic, these normcore shoes are pretty much set to be the new comfy ‘it’ shoe to effortlessly pair with our mum jeans and moto jackets. Or even with our crisp white leg split dresses on those nights out, as per Karla Špetić.

In the world of Timberlands, Birkenstocks and Doc Martens, Teva sandals also had a humble beginning as an outdoor shoe, birthed to conquer the slippery rocks of the Grand Canyon. But these days, with its utilitarian velcro straps and simple design, the Teva is making its entry from the runways of MBFWA and right into our closets.
