Jennifer Lopez was her best, A-lister self in New York City on Wednesday night, attending the premiere of her new film Second Act in a cloud of hot pink couture.
Boyfriend and twin soul Alex Rodriguez was at her side, the pair unquestionably Manhattan’s golden couple at least for the night – both were born and raised in the city’s Bronx area.
Lopez has come a long way from Jenny From The Block, as has millionaire ex-baseball player A-Rod. But the pair revealed their humble beginnings with what they decided to do after the screaming fans and flashing camera bulbs were behind them:
They went for pizza.
That’s right. The couple and their entourage settled into a table at no-fuss Chelsea joint Artichoke Pizza.
Lopez’s co-star and real-life friend Leah Remini, and the film’s producers Benny Medina and Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas were among the group that tucked into slices of cheesy, steaming hot pepperoni pizza bigger than their heads.
It’s an especially surprising choice since the couple is known for being notoriously healthy when it comes to diet. But apparently even JLo and A-Rod enjoy the odd cheat day.
What are the chances they caught the Subway home to their multi-million dollar apartment after? Somehow, we doubt it.
