Since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry welcomed baby Archie into the world on May 6, the location of where the Duchess gave birth had not been confirmed – until now.
The couple registered their newborn son’s birth overnight, meaning a birth certificate is completed and becomes public record. In other words, the tea has been spilled.
According to the birth certificate, Archie was born in Paddington, Westminster, which is the location of the Portland Hospital, an exclusive private hospital.
Some had speculated Archie was born at home at Frogmore Cottage, since the Sussexes were not seen leaving or returning to Frogmore before or after.
Turns out those royals are just good at keeping a low profile when they want to.
Another interesting detail is Meghan’s ‘occupation’: She’s listed as “Princess of the United Kingdom,” even though her title is that of a Duchess, not a Princess.
It comes just days before Meghan and Harry will celebrate their first wedding anniversary. Crazy how much can change in a year, am I right?
