It was reported Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would honeymoon in Botswana, after the couple enjoyed their first vacation together in the African nation.

But according to TMZ, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are headed to Canada.

The website reports Harry and Meghan will check-in to a luxury cabin at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge in Alberta, spending a cool $9000 per night for the privilege.

The couple will hunker down in the Outlook Cabin – aptly also known as the Royal Retreat –  a 557 square metre, six-bedroom house on the property that’s sure to keep them away from prying eyes.

They won’t be the first royals to stay there, either: King George VI and the Queen Mother stayed in 1939, and Queen Elizabeth I and Prince Philip stayed in 2005.

Situated inside Jasper National Park, the resort has spectacular views of the surrounding lakes and mountains. Kayaking on the crystal-blue lake, playing golf and heading to the spa are some of the activities the hotel recommends on its website.

It’s not so surprising Meghan and Harry chose Canada. Her recently published bio on the official royal family website describes her affinity with the country:

“Whilst working on Suits, The Duchess moved to Toronto, Canada where the show was filmed; she feels very connected to Canada, as it became a second home to her.”
