Has Thomas Markle given up on repairing his relationship with daughter Meghan?
It seems like it, because the Duchess of Sussex’s father has given another interview in which he harshly criticises the royal family, AKA Meghan’s in-laws.
They “are either like Scientologists or the Stepford family,” Meghan’s 74-year-old father told The Sun.
“If they hear anybody say anything they just lock the doors. They need to speak up!” he continued.
“They are cult-like—like Scientology—because they are secretive …They close the door, pull the shades down and put their fingers in their ears so they don’t have to hear. Maybe they have a secret handshake too! You cannot ask a question of them—as they won’t answer.”
His remarks come amid reports Meghan is refusing to speak to her father until he stops giving interviews to the press and discussing his daughter’s life in public.
At this rate, that sadly seems unlikely.
