Ever wanted to peek into a supermodel’s wardrobe? Toni Garrn and Vestiaire Collective will do you one better.
The philanthropist model and the luxury vintage e-tailer are teaming up to take Garrn’s New York-based ‘Supermodel Flea Market’ concept global, giving shoppers worldwide the chance to own pre-loved designer pieces from the personal wardrobes of a slew of different models.
“I reached out to all of my friends and asked them to donate pieces from their wardrobe,” explains Garrn.

With 100 percent of the proceeds going to Garrn’s charitable foundation that aims to make education accessible to girls in Zimbabwe, we can see why the likes of Kate Moss, Gisele Bündchen, Naomi Campbell, Karlie Kloss, Joan Smalls, Alexa Chung, Poppy Delevingne, Jess Hart and Georgia Fowler (to name but a few) have contributed more than 1500 pieces.
Highlights from the sale include a pair of Gisele’s Prada sandals that have been monogrammed in gold on the sole, a one-of-a-kind signed vintage denim jacket with a hand painted back from Kate (Moss, duh) and one of Carrie Bradshaw’s most memorable Sex and the City accessories: the Eiffel Tower bag, as donated by legendary costume designer Patricia Field.

That’s not including the goodies from Garrn’s own wardrobe. “I think there is around seven or eight suitcases of my stuff that is available at the pop-ups! I pulled out a Vetements jumper, Prada shoes, Vionnet dresses, Aquazzura shoes honestly the list is endless!”
And just in case you’re still not convinced? British designer Bella Freud has created an online exclusive, limited edition Girl Empower T-shirt for the charitable cause in her signature graphic style.

Girl empower indeed. Garrn’s charitable efforts in the past have already made a real impact, with the model revealing, “I was in Zimbabwe earlier this year and officially opened a girls’ hostel with the funds raised by my foundation, which was incredible!”
This next global sale effort hopes to continue this work. “My next project is funding boarding houses on school sites for girls in Zimbabwe. These homes will enable teenage girls to be able to live on site and finish their education avoiding the 14 kilometre walk to and from school every day which eventually leads to them dropping out.”

This global iteration of the Supermodel Flea Market will be available to shop both online and in-person at three European pop-up destinations, where Garrn herself will be on hand to guide lucky shoppers through the one-of-a-kind pieces available.
The Berlin pop-up will launch on the November 3, staying in town until the 4th, before moving on to London (Nov 10-12) and Paris (Nov 17-18). The online sale goes live on the Vestiaire Collective site on November 2. Better free up a hanger or five.
