Here’s some comfort for affordable-fashion aficionados mourning the demise of Topshop and Topman online in Australia: both lines are set to return to our shores via fashion giant The Iconic.

From today, you’ll find Topshop denim and the whole Topman range amongst the online store’s current offering of over 700 brands men’s and women’s. By the end of November, the full smorgasbord of Topshop offerings will be up for grabs.

“Bringing Topshop to The Iconic’s women’s department is a dream come true,” says Lucienne Whealing, who has the impressive official title of Women’s Fashion Expert at The Iconic. “We know The Iconic woman loves to be on trend, so having Topshop on board will mean we’re now an even more serious player in the fashion field. I can’t wait for our customers to experience Topshop through The Iconic for the ultimate high street shopping experience.”

Still lamenting the loss of the bricks and mortar stores that closed earlier this year? (A woeful loss, despite the mammoth discounts shoppers scored during the stock take fire sales.) We have more great news still.

According to a recent statement by Topshop HQ in London, the global brand – which has taken over from the local licensee that first launched Topshop in Australia – has confirmed leases on the existing Gowings, Emporium, Bondi and Brisbane stores. It will relaunch its online shopping option in near future as well.

Here’s cheers to the fact you can’t keep this good (top)man down.
