Renowned designer and former Balenciaga’s creative boss Alexander Wang has teamed with Japanese retail giant UNIQLO again to create another chic line of affordable everyday apparel.

The highly-anticipated collection will see Wang bring his signature sleek chic aesthetic to UNIQLO’s HEATTECH line. Set to reflect Wang’s value of functionality and utilitarianism, the collection is proof that comfortable clothing can still be stylish.

Primarily consisting of in-demand intimates, the range will include bras, briefs, leggings, and bodysuits, all available in an array of neutral hues to fit seamlessly into any wardrobe, plus pops of vibrant neon green, Wang’s long-time colour of choice.

This is not the New York native’s first time first collaborating with the Japanese brand. He first teamed up UNIQLO 10 years ago to work on the UNIQLO Designers Invitation Project and believes this new HEATTECH collection was the dream way to rekindle the commercial friendship.

“I am thrilled our collaboration has resulted in developing a new HEATTECH line,” says Wang. “[It’s] the perfect place to pick up from where we left off ten years ago.” While an Australian release date hasn’t yet been set, intel suggests a drop in-store and online in early November 2018.
