Victoria Beckham is back with her weekly beauty routine, and this time she is sharing some advice about one of her favourite products.

After Beckham’s well-documented visit to Melanie Grant in Sydney, her skincare regime had quite the shakeup. Some two weeks later, Beckham is still preaching about one particular product that Grant recommended to her: the Augustinus Baden Rich Cream.

“I absolutely love this brand!!! Now trying the rich cream for extra hydration when travelling,” she wrote on Instagram, posting a photo of the CPC Cellular Renewal Cream. But, she later revealed some hard truths about the product, saying it’s not for the everyday. “So the Augustinus Baden Rich Cream is too greasy for every day but perfect for travel and super cold weather.” Her go-to product when she’s 40,000 feet up or battling a British winter, the Cream is just the thing for those with super dry, dehydrated skin.

Melanie Grant, who initially suggested Beckham use the Cream, advises that it can be used morning and night is fantastic for those with “drier skin.” Grant is such a fan, she’s been using it herself. “I’ve been using it for around six months and it’s amazing!”

As for the brand, it actually has a very interesting backstory. “The professor who invented the active ingredient specialises in burns and wound repair and the company itself is very philanthropic – charitable with burns victims, acid attack victims and the like,”  says Grant. A pioneer in regenerative medicine, Professor Augustinus Bader is one of the world’s leading stem cell and biomedical scientists, and the originator of a breakthrough medical treatment that activates and orchestrates the body’s innate regenerative processes. He applied this science to skincare, and the brand has since become a cult favourite amongst the celebrity set.

A posh cream indeed, it’s only available at Melanie Grant Skin Studios (Sydney and Melbourne) and Melanie Grant online, however there’s a waitlist. Remember, good things come to those who wait – even good skin.
