On Thursday, Kanye West sat down with US President Donald Trump in the White House for a bizarre and nonsensical conversation that drew heavy criticism.

In what was essentially a 10-minute stream of consciousness rant by the rapper, West said the red ‘Make America Great Again’ cap worn by Trump supporters made him feel “like Superman” and that he couldn’t support Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election because he didn’t have enough masculine energy in his life.

Kanye’s friend T.I said he was “officially done” with West after the performance, and rapper Diddy expressed his approval by saying it was “not black excellence”.

So what does Kim Kardashian think?

According to a report by Radar Online, Kim is having a similar reaction to when Kanye said in a televised interview that “slavery was a choice”.

Claiming their marriage is “extremely strained,” an insider said Kim was “horrified” by the performance and is distressed after “getting threats.”

“It has come to the point where she feels unsafe and fears for her safety and that of the kids.”

But according to CNN, it’s a different story. The news website claims a source close to Kim said she’s standing by Kanye, as she usually does, no matter the controversy.

“Kim is incredibly supportive,” the source said, adding she’s “not embarrassed”.

Regardless of what Kim really thinks of her husband’s antics, she’s feeling pretty smug that her White House meeting was much more effective and well-received – she convinced Trump to pardon a woman who was serving a life-sentence.
