It’s true that for many people what Kim’s doing is not possible, especially in America where many are ‘working poor’ – they have full-time jobs but can barely afford to live, because of the terribly low minimum wage in many parts of the country.
But you can’t deny Kardashian’s discipline – or at least her intention to be disciplined for the next four years. In an Instagram post overnight, Kim detailed the lifestyle changes she’s made to pursue law outside of the traditional college route.
Unless she gets involved in some shady bribery scandal, which seems especially unlikely now thanks to Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman, Kim cannot buy her way to being a lawyer. She has to study hard enough to pass the tests. Period.
“It’s true I did not finish college,” Kim said. “For anyone assuming this is the easy way out, it’s not.”
“My weekends are spent away from my kids while I read and study. I work all day, put my kids to bed and spend my nights studying. There are times I feel overwhelmed and when I feel like I can’t do it but I get the pep talks I need from the people around me supporting me.
“I changed my number last year and disconnected from everyone because I have made this strict commitment to follow a dream of mine,” she revealed.
“It’s never too late to follow your dreams.
“This week I have a big torts essay due on negligence. Wish me luck.”
