Victoria’s Secret 2018
Yesterday, we shone a light on infrared saunas; why they’re good for you, what they do and how often you should do them.
Today, we share our top three spots to get sweaty in Sydney. 45 minutes in these will warm you from the inside out. For those who like it red-hot (and a little sweaty), apply within.
Nimbus & Co.
A little hot-pocket on Bondi Road (there’s also one in Byron Bay), Nimbus & Co. is a restorative space in every sense. From mindful yoga to meditation, it’s a holistic haven; a minimalist meld of Scandinavian details (raw timbers and shaggy cushions) and Eastern Suburbs mandatories (basket-potted fiddle leaves and shells). Step inside its infrared sauna to complete the healing process.
Down the other end of Bondi, Lux Allure sits unassumingly on Old South Head Road. A salon dedicated to beauty, its infrared room is beautifully peaceful. There’s a palm frond, cool water with lemon and fresh towels, whilst your choice of radio will keep you occupied.
WILDFIRE INFRARED SAUNA AND WELLNESS
Wildfire Wellness is a little sanctuary to heal. Punctuated with palm fronds, crystals, raw timber and natives, the healing haven in Maroubra not only has an infrared sauna, but offers complementary therapies and boasts a retail space specifically curated with organic Australian products, and clothing and jewellery by local designers.
In Sydney’s bustling Surry Hills and Redfern, a tranquil oasis awaits in the form of Vrai Health. The treatment-focused sister to BodyMindLife, Vrai offers a beautiful infrared sauna to let yourself go in. You can also add Cryotherapy and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy to round out the healing trifecta.
