There’s compelling arguments on both sides, and neither can be ignored. Today, TMZ reports two concierges who worked in the building where Amber Heard and Johnny Depp lived claim she didn’t have any bruising on her face days after Depp reportedly threw an iPhone at her.

On May 23, two days after the reported attack, the daytime concierge saw Heard in the lobby and all but commented on her good complexion. He said she appeared to be wearing no makeup and, unlike the images we have seen, the concierge remarked that she was bruise-free.

A second concierge saw Heard on May 25 and told a similar story. TMZ have been told Depp will most likely ask the two concierges to testify in court later this month.

Last week, the LAPD stood by their claim that there was no evidence of injury and no disarray in the apartment when they were called to respond to a domestic dispute at the star couple’s apartment on May 21. The LAPD say the actress never alleged any brutality, just that they had an argument.

Heard is reportedly gearing up for court by hiring renowned feminist lawyer Gloria Allred’s California firm Allred Maroko Goldberg, the same firm who represented several of the women in the Bill Cosby sexual abuse case. The first man in the firing line isn’t Depp though, instead Heard has set her sights on comedian Doug Stanhope who accused her of blackmailing Depp by lying about the alleged domestic abuse.

And, in the biggest case of he did, she did, The Mirror is now reporting “a source” as recounting a private plane tripe in 2013 where Depp was erratic after his film The Lone Ranger flopped. “Johnny took his family with him on a private jet paid for by the studio. During the flight, Johnny was drinking and smoking loads,” says the source. “His behaviour became unpredictable and Amber didn’t want to be around him. But there was nowhere to go on the jet except the bathroom, so she hid in there.”
