The front row any fashion show is a highly orchestrated and though-out affair, but even more so at the debut show for a designer. So all eyes were on the seating plan at Anthony Vaccarello’s first show for Saint Laurent, which took place in Saint German, Paris overnight. But who better to give a collective IT-girl seal of approval to the Vaccarello’s first collection than three of France’s chicest women; Jane Birkin and her daughters Charlotte Gainsbourgh and Lou Doillon? Aside from their universal ensembles of black, white and Le Smoking all over was their mutually on-point execution of the French-girl beauty equation: textured waves, dishevelled fringes and barely-there makeup.

Kicking off Paris Fashion Week the stylish trio stole the spotlight proving an effortless, je ne sais quoi attitude never ages (though being born within the that born within the twenty arrondissements definitely helps the cause.) For those of us south of the equator looking to emulate their effortless looks, trust their air-dried technique by prepping towel dried hair with the appropriate texturizing products and letting mother nature do the rest.
