Australian fans of fashion juggernaut have reason to celebrate following news the brand will launch its first online store offering in mere weeks.

The announcement will be especially sweet for wannabe customers who aren’t located near one of 19 stores countrywide that opened since the brand’s 2011 arrival Down Under.

More good news is the fact this online offering will give Aussies access to styles within 48 hours of them dropping in the Spanish headquarter.

“Zara’s collections are updated twice a week and are the same all over the world,” and insider told GRAZIA. “However, due to the climate differences between the North and South hemisphere, Zara has designers that are exclusively thinking about specific garments for markets such as Brazil and Australia.”

Shoppers will be able to choose between a postal delivery or store pick-up option for pieces bought online. The delivery and return policy will be another big drawcard for savvy shoppers – both are free, although next day delivery for items under $75 will carry a fee of $7.95.

Zara.com/au will be live on March 14.
